𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗨: When the Horoscope and the House Reflect Each Other
Over years of observing homes alongside horoscopes, a curious pattern begins to appear. The structure of a house often seems to mirror the planetary pattern of the person living in it.
In many cases the direction of the main entrance quietly corresponds to the direction where the MOON sits in the birth chart. It is almost as though the emotional centre of the horoscope aligns itself with the gateway of the home.

ASTROVASTU studies this relationship by reading the Janma Kundli (birth chart) together with the Makan Kundli (house chart).

When viewed this way, subtle links begin to appear between planetary placements and how a house is built, arranged, and experienced.
The horoscope may also influence the placement of heavy objects, water sources, entrances, and even the decorative environment of the house. Certain planetary combinations discourage south facing doors, western openings, or heavy iron structures in specific directions, while others support greenery, worship spaces, or particular geometric forms outside the house.

The SUN often shows its influence through fire and light. In some charts the kitchen functions better along the eastern wall rather than the traditional south east. When the SUN occupies the eighth house, a south facing entrance may coincide with health challenges or career obstacles. In such charts, opening the western side of the house or allowing strong light from the WEST can also create persistent imbalances in life.

Water features tell a similar story. Houses associated with particular placements of the MOON may comfortably support underground water tanks even though classical Vastu would normally treat them with caution.

Planetary combinations can also appear through symbols inside the home. Certain homes benefit from imagery of deer if Mars and Saturn are in the tenth house of the birth chart, while other charts respond favourably to elephants, dogs, goats, or lush greenery. These elements often act as subtle balancing influences within the environment for the individual.

Even the shape of the house may sometimes reflect planetary strength. When VENUS is strong in the second house, homes frequently appear in a Gaumukhi form, narrow at the entrance and wider at the rear, a layout traditionally associated with prosperity.

And we can go on. These observations are not rigid rules. They are patterns noticed repeatedly when charts and homes are studied together.
Taken together they suggest a compelling possibility.
A horoscope does not only describe the life of a person. It may also offer a glimpse of the planetary blueprint of the house that person lives within.
And sometimes the reverse is just as revealing.
